WELCOME

Hello my former colleagues! My name is Elizabeth Johnson Moore, but everyone calls me by my nickname which is "Johnsy." I have always lived in a rural area, and presently I live with my parents on Buggs Island Lake. I enjoy all types of water activites which include water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, and riding the boat with my family. My weekends are filled with visitors whether they are relatives or friends. I am currently in my third year at SVCC and working toward my degree in Elementary Education. My first encounter with a school system was volunteering for a local organizational group in which I was a member. The first formal educational experience was serving a Cooperating Teacher at the second grade level. We were required as a class to obtain forty hours at the school of our choice, but I went over because I chose a location that was suitable not only for its proximity but also for its friendly faculty and staff. I really enjoyed working with these children, but I do not have enough experience yet. I am looking to the current teachers enrolled in this class that are employed to give me guidance with my endeavors. I am looking foward to teaching the children of our future.
